Learning Support

As a highly selective school, all pupils at Westminster are intelligent. However, for those with a specific learning difficulty certain aspects of study can be considerably more challenging.

It is important to ensure that we are informed of a pupil’s particular needs prior to their entry to the school, so that we can discuss and determine the right type of support. The school is committed to helping pupils with a range of additional needs and we have a dedicated Study Skills Department to offer help and guidance to pupils throughout their time at Westminster. Whether a pupil struggles with an unseen disability or medical condition, a learning difficulty such as dyslexia or dyspraxia, or simply needs some help with time management and organisational skills, our staff are more than happy to offer one-to-one support.

Any Learning Support sessions with the pupils are designed to be as encouraging and empowering as possible, allowing our boys and girls to gain a clearer sense of their needs and help them to identify solutions to overcome future potential challenges.
